I've spent a couple nights here and it's been rough. I miss home. I miss Chicago. I miss my bed. I miss my giant teddy bear, and I miss my pillows. I think that is the hardest part about being here. The pillow I have been provided with is gross. But there is Amazon prime in Spain! Unfortunately, "next day delivery" seems to mean something different to the Spanish. It's ok though. My amazing APX pledge dad left me a nice fuzzy blanket.
So while I don't have a good pillow, I've got a great blanket, and my best friend.
Chris and I have been traveling into the city center of Sant Cugat as well as to Barcelona (the city). We visited La Rambla and walked all the way to Port de Barcelona and walked down to one of the biggest malls in Barcelona (coincidentally one of the only open places in the city on a Sunday).
Since we didn't have class today in honor of Catalan National Day, I spent the day relaxing and making this website (yay! finally). I look forward to trying to remember to blog, but anyone who knows me knows I am terrible at remembering to write.
